Completing character quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley unlocks unique friendship rewards and expands the story between beloved villagers. One of WALL-E's key friendship storylines, known as A Friendly Exchange, allows players to reunite the shy robot with Ariel. This quest involves finding hidden items across the valley and facilitating a heartwarming exchange between two avid collectors.
Unlocking the Quest Requirements
To begin A Friendly Exchange, players must first reach Friendship Level 8 with WALL-E and bring Ariel to the village. Additionally, you need to complete previous prerequisites such as repairing the broken machine in WALL-E's prior quest. The main trigger for this mission requires finding a hidden memory sphere by clearing Night Thorns throughout the valley.
Locating the Three Missing Objects
Once the memory is recovered and discussed with both characters, WALL-E asks for help gathering three specific items. The Bowling Pin is located inside Goofy's house resting on the floor near the couch. Meanwhile, the Toy Train can be retrieved from the dining table inside Mickey Mouse's home.
The final item needed for the trade is a Light Bulb, which is hidden inside WALL-E's house. Search near the back corner near the structure wall to spot the item on the floor. Collect all three items and deliver them directly to WALL-E to advance to the next step.
Facilitating the Trade on the Beach
After receiving the items, WALL-E will head toward Dazzle Beach to meet up with Ariel. Players must follow him and watch as the two characters exchange their favorite treasures.
